Nearly nine years after Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week, the trial of nine men and one woman accused of carrying out the heist opened in Paris. The case revolves around the 2016 theft of nearly $10 million in cash and jewelry, including a $4 million engagement ring. The defendants, aged from their 30s to 70s, face charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, and conspiracy.

As the trial began, defendants Aomar Ait Khedache and Yunice Abbas entered the courtroom. Ait Khedache, believed to be the mastermind, appeared with a cane and hearing aids. Families of the defendants also arrived, sitting next to the press.

The robbery took place at the "No Address" hotel, where Kardashian was staying. Disguised as police officers, the thieves tied her up at gunpoint. Kardashian, set to testify on May 13, is expected to face the alleged robbers for the first time in court. The trial, delayed due to various factors, is set to conclude on May 22 with a verdict on May 23.
