A Temple University student faced suspension and police investigation after an antisemitic sign was displayed at Barstool Sports' downtown Philadelphia bar. Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, responded to videos showing the offensive sign over the weekend.

Customers ordering bottle service at the Sansom Street bar can choose words to display on a large sign. A student ordered "(expletive) the Jews" to be mounted on the sign on Saturday, May 3, leading to widespread condemnation online.

One Temple student has been suspended for their involvement, and the Philadelphia Police Department is investigating the matter. Portnoy, who is Jewish, expressed his outrage on social media and announced plans to send the students to Auschwitz for education.
The employees who complied with the offensive sign request were fired, as stated on the bar's Instagram page. Both the bar and Temple University issued statements condemning antisemitism.
"In the strongest terms possible, let me be clear: antisemitism is abhorrent," said Temple University President John Fry. The Anti-Defamation League of Philadelphia also denounced the incident.
