The NFL draft experience for Shedeur Sanders took a surprising turn as he was fooled by a prank call from a fake general manager.
During Day 2 of the draft party at the Sanders' family home in Texas, a video posted on the "Well Off Media" YouTube channel showed Shedeur receiving a call from an unknown number.
Thinking it was a legitimate call, Shedeur put it on speaker phone for everyone to hear.
The caller, pretending to be Mickey Loomis, the general manager of the New Orleans Saints, told Shedeur that they would pick him next, only to reveal it was a cruel joke.
Despite the disappointment, Shedeur remained positive and thanked God for everything on social media.
The prank video surfaced on social media, showing the individuals behind the cruel joke laughing after hanging up.
