Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed a strong response to the Yemeni Houthis after their missile attack near Ben Gurion International Airport led to the cancellation of flights by US and European airlines.
Netanyahu, in a video on Telegram, stated, "We have acted against them in the past and we will act in the future, but I cannot go into detail ... it will not happen in one bang, but there will be many bangs."

Following the missile landing near the airport, European and US carriers have cancelled flights for several days, impacting travel to and from Israel.

Delta Air Lines, Lufthansa Group, ITA, Air France, and Ryanair have all adjusted their flight schedules due to the situation.

The Houthi military spokesperson claimed responsibility for the attack, declaring Israel's main airport unsafe for air travel.

The conflict between the Houthis and Israel escalated during the early days of the war between Hamas and Israel in Gaza.

US President Donald Trump had previously ordered strikes against the Houthis to protect commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
