This new app expands on the existing generative AI chatbot found in the company's social media apps, providing users with a dedicated platform for the technology.

The Meta AI app complements the company's AI glasses and includes a Discover feed showcasing how others are utilizing the tool.

Competing with OpenAI's ChatGPT, Meta describes its AI app as "built to get to know you," offering a seamless and social interaction experience.

Voice features allow users to multitask while using the app, with voice conversations currently available in select countries.

The app also features the language-learning model Llama 4, which is more conversational in tone.

Users can connect their Facebook or Instagram accounts to personalize responses and share prompts with their feeds.

Access the Meta AI app at meta.ai or download it from app stores, logging in with Meta (Facebook and Instagram) accounts.
