The announcement was made during the "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night" episode of "American Idol" on April 27, with the full induction ceremony set to air live on Disney+ on Nov. 8.

Notable names who didn't make the cut this year include The Black Crowes, Billy Idol, and Mariah Carey, among others.

Phish led the fan vote but did not secure induction, proving that fan support doesn't always guarantee entry into the Hall of Fame.

Aside from performer inductees, the Rock Hall will also honor Salt-N-Pepa, Warren Zevon, and other influential figures in the music industry.

Eligibility for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame requires that an artist or band released their first commercial recording at least 25 years before the year of nomination.

Melissa Ruggieri, a voting member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, is part of the selection process for the inductees.
