MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix is gearing up for an action-packed event.

McLaren's Lando Norris secured second place after winning the Sprint race, with teammate Oscar Piastri starting in fourth, leading the drivers' standings.

Mercedes' rookie Kimi Antonelli, at just 18 years old, will be in third place after his impressive pole position win in the Sprint race.

The Miami Grand Prix, now in its fourth year, is the first of three F1 races in the United States. Miami organizers were recognized as Promoter of the Year, and F1's CEO praised the partnership with Miami as exceptional.

"Miami is always an exciting race to be a part of," said Mercedes' George Russell, starting in fifth position.

Alpine's Pierre Gasly, starting in 18th, is looking forward to a strong performance to celebrate on Sunday night.
