Tony Award winners Sarah Paulson and Wendell Pierce have revealed the nominations for the 2025 Tony Awards, with some categories exclusively announced on "CBS Mornings."
Top contenders like "Buena Vista Social Club," "Death Becomes Her," and "Maybe Happy Ending" lead the nominations for Best Musical, each receiving 10 nods. Plays "John Proctor is the Villain" and "The Hills of California" also garnered seven nominations each.
Notable names like George Clooney, Mia Farrow, and Audra McDonald are among the nominees for this year's Tony Awards.
The star-studded event, hosted by Cynthia Erivo, will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 8, at 8 p.m. ET.
